Department of Chemistry (U G & P G ) of Dr. A. V. Baliga College of Arts & science, Kumta, organised Webinar on “Role of Research Activities in NAAC Assessment” on 17th June 2021. Dr. B E Kumarswamy, Chairman, Department of Industrial Chemistry, Kuvempu University, Shimoga involved as Resource persons. This Webinar aims to bring together the Research Scholars, Students and Faculty to create a unique opportunity and platform for exchange of knowledge and share awareness about the NAAC accredited higher education institutes during pandemic crisis.
Invocation done by Miss. Pallavi Gayatri. Welcome was done by Programme coordinator Dr. N. K. Nayak. Convener Dr. Revati Naik introduced Resource Person Dr. B. E. Kumarswamy. Principal Dr. P. K. Bhat sent out the key message. His encouraging words are the true inspiration for the success of the webinar. The session started with Dr. B. E. Kumarswamy, Kuvempu University, Shimoga gave scintillating talk on “Role of Research Activities in NAAC Assessment”. He also emphasised on importance of basic science research and role of higher education Institutes during NAAC Assessment. The sessions involved enthusiastic involvement of participants with resource persons and resource person gladly helped them in clarifying their doubts. Session ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Anurag Naik. Miss. Sneha Hegde oranised the programme systematically with help of zoom platform. The Webinar was a great success with more than 120 participants involvement from all over the country.
